New York City, NY
Well, we’re back from our trip to NYC and still playing catch-up on our rest. Although it was a very short trip (2.5 days), we played hard! We totally did the ‘tourist thing’ and hit up some signature NY spots like Central Park, the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Little Italy, The Village, Yankee Stadium, and more! Our feet still hurt 7 days later. But here are a few shots of our favorite moments.

APPLE STORE

CENTRAL PARK

TIMES SQUARE

EMPIRE STATE BUILDING

HOTEL “STAY” – SWANK BAR

ROCKEFELLER CENTER

ST. PATRICK’S CATHEDRAL

STATUE OF LIBERTY

FINANCIAL DISTRICT – WALL STREET, NY STOCK EXCHANGE

LITTLE ITALY (would have had more pics, but it was pouring down rain)

SUBWAY

YANKEE STADIUM

WORLD TRADE CENTERĀ / GROUND ZERO

LOWER MANHATTAN / GOVERNOR’S ISLAND FERRY

CITI FIELD (NY METS)

Erin, these are absolutely SURREAL! Seriously incredible! That one of the apartment building with the flash of the bird in front…amazing. And the white lights in the trees at St Pat’s….and I also love your b/w one of St Pat’s that shows the old architecture and then the lights from the modern building to the left…such a cool contrast! Are you sure you just want to take pics of babies? Because you’re really good at landscapes too
P.S. That last comment was from me.
LOVED the pictures!! it was totally worth getting pneumonia and needing to have foot surgery!! i had no idea how awesome central park is. so glad yall had a great time.
We had such a good time, despite the fact that my feet were COMPLETELY BROKEN from waking around in cowboy boots all day the first day. I hobbled all over NYC for the next two days (in the pouring down rain, no less) but it was still a fabulous memory for the books. We can’t wait to go back — to visit. We’re still country mice when it comes to a big city like that.
